This is Rabhav. He is a beast. Note: Look at image into drawing photoshop tutorial
1. I learned the value of good lighting. I basically makes or breaks a photo. Before I couldn't really get the hang of exposures and the brightness in my photos. Now, I feel that with a bit more practice, I will intuitively light my scenes. The first light assignment taught me how to conpensate for changing light conditions during different times of day. The white balance section required a bit more research, but I managed to figure out how to work around the camera's tendency to set the white balance on more extreme parts of the scene. Finally, the last project with Rabhav was really interesting. I got to see the different effects of studio lighting and it gave me a new understanding of a subject's lighting.
2. In the first project, it was very difficult to light the scene because I didn't have a tripod and I needed to increase the shutter speed. This caused blur, but taking more pictures allowed for a higherprobability of a focus picture. I realized now hwever, the best method would have been to turn on my backyard light and use indirect lighting to set the scene. Withe the studio lighting, I should have monitored my photos and the person incharge of the lihgting more carefully. Becuase I didn't, the photos were less clear in what the angle was.
3. The first project used reptiition in the leaf treetops and water flags and ended in the door and building at the end. However, repition in this case did not compliment dominance. The main focus was the lighting in the scenes and not any particular design elements.
